Steps to Reproduce
- On the Incident form, add the field named Parent Incident.
- Complete the Parent Incident field to relate an active incident to a parent incident.
- Open the active parent incident.
- Close the parent incident.
- Open the child incident.
Note that the Active field on the child incident is true.
The incident form uses the parent_incident column, not the parent column. The business rule must be updated.
NOTE: This procedure overwrites any existing code. Back up your changes before applying the workaround.
- Log in as maint.
- Import the xml file attached to this knowledge base article.
