Description

If a variable has variable attributes ref_auto_completer=AJAXTableCompleter, ref_ac_columns_search=true, ref_ac_columns=u_company_id, the column referenced displays on the desktop UI but not in the mobile UI.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In the desktop UI, go to Service Catalog > Maintain Items. Open any item, like the Apple iPad 3.
  2. Add a variable and name it Account number.
  3. In variable attributes, add: ref_auto_completer=AJAXTableCompleter,ref_ac_columns_search=true,ref_ac_columns=sys_id
  4. Go to the service catalog and select Apple iPad 3.
  5. See the account number field, click on it and search for Acme.
  6. Observe that all the acme companies are displayed with their sys_ids.
  7. Go to the mobile UI ($m.do), and select service catalog and apple iPad 3.
  8. Select the account number field and type Acme.

Expected Behavior:  The sys_id should be the displayed field.
Actual Behavior:  Only the company name is displayed.

Workaround

The ref_ac_columns dictionary attribute is not supported in the mobile UI. Unfortunately, there are no current plans to add this functionality.
