When sending an email that contains an invalid email address, the email server may respond with an error indicating "Invalid Address." The instance processes this and experiences a NullPointerException.

SMTP Sender stops running when Email Recipient value is not a valid email and a NullPointerException is logged. Although the recipient is not a valid email address, it should not stop SMTP Sender. It should set the email message as "ignored" and skip the email message that failed.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create an outbound email with an invalid email address, such as "InvalidEmailAddress."
  2. Send the email.
  3. In some cases, a NullPointerException results in the instance, depending on the email server used.

Correct the invalid email addresses.
