Description

Upgrading to Knowledge v3 changes the modules Self-Service > Knowledge and Service Desk > Knowledge to point to the knowledge_home_launcher.do page instead of kb_home.do.

Modules should not be changed when upgrading to Knowledge v3.

Steps to Reproduce

 

  1. On a Eureka instance, verify the modules Self-Service > Knowledge and Service Desk > Knowledge point to kb_home.do.
  2. Upgrade the instance to Fuji.
  3. Examine the modules Self-Service > Knowledge and Service Desk > Knowledge. Note these modules now point to knowledge_home_launcher.do

 

Workaround

For each module:

  1. Right-click on the module favorite icon in the application navigator.
  2. Select Edit module.
  3. In the Link type tab, change the Arguments field value from knowledge_home_launcher.do to kb_home.do.
  4. Click Update.
