In list view, task.stage breaks UI rendering and throws a "jQuery is not defined" error when using UI11

Description

When using UI11 in Fuji, if task.stage is on the list view, the following client side error occurs:

Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

This field is on the Requested Items by Me (Active) gauge on the ITIL Homepage by default, so this issue impacts all ITIL users who have an active sc_req_item record belonging to them. On Internet Explorer, this client-side error breaks the UI completely. Contextual menus become inactive, home pages do not fully load, and the Add content drop zones are not displayed.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Disable UI15 by setting glide.ui.doctype to false.

  2. Log out and then log in again.

  3. Go to the sc_req_item table and make sure Stage is in the list view.

    The error message appears.

Workaround

  1. Go to /sc_req_item_list.do?sysparm_view=ess
  2. Right-click the list header and go to Configure > List Layout.
  3. Remove Stage from the list view.
