The Business Service Catalog link returns to the Request Service Catalog UI page instead of the Business Service Catalog UI Page.

This issue has been replicated on the base system ServiceNow instance:

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Self-Service > Business Service Catalog.
  2. Click on any Service Catalog categories.
  3. Click on any Service Catalog item.
  4. Next to the green arrow button, select Service Catalog.
  5. Notice that it takes you back to Request Service Catalog and not to the Business Service Catalog.



Follow these steps:

  1. In the navigator, locate the Business Service Catalog module. 
  2. Edit the module. 
  3. Navigate to Link Type tab of the module. 
  4. Modify the Arguments text as indicated: catalog_home.do?sysparm_view=business&sysparm_catalog_view=business
  5. Click the Update button.
  6. Clear the cache and test the changes. 
  7. Refer to the below screen shot of the Business Service Catalog module after the changes:
