The HR Case opened notification is often not sent to the user who created an HR case.


There is an option on the notification that prevents individuals who trigger events to receive email notifications. This option is designed to prevent redundant notifications of events to the user. In this case, however, it can be confusing and unexpected.

  1. Navigate to System Policy > Email > Notifications.
  2. In the record list filter, search HR Case opened.
  3. Open the HR Case opened email notification, and click the Advanced view related link
  4. In the Who will receive section, select Send to event creator.

The user who creates the [hr_case] record is now able to receive HR Case HRCxxxxxx has been opened notifications.
