On upgrade to Eureka or later, the Email Client has an HTML field, and the Client Template has a string field.

Newlines in the Client Template are not kept when loading them into the Email Client.

Steps to Reproduce


Personalize the dictionary entry for the email client template Body field and change the field type from String to HTML.

  1. Navigate to System Policy > Email > Client Templates.
  2. Open an email client template.
  3. Right-click the Body field label and select Personalize Dictionary.
  4. In the Type field, enter HTML.
  5. Save the dictionary entry.
  6. Reenter the line breaks in the email client template.
