The MID server does not sync Script Files after they are added during Orchestration plugin activation.

There is a set of script files for PowerShell and AD that are added to MID Script Files table (ecc_agent_script_file) after the Orchestration plugin is activated. These files are not synced to MID server until the MID server is restarted or the user modify / add files causes a file change triggered by a business rule.

Without these files synced to MID server, PowerShell and AD activities will not work.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Setup a new MID server and point to the instance.
  2. Verify that the following files exist in the folder agent\scripts\Powershell on the MID server:
    • Credentials
    • LaunchProc
    • PSScript
    • WMIFetch
    • XMLUtil
  3. Enable the Orchestration plugins.
  4. Verify the PowerShell and AD files are in MID server > Script Files on the instance. For example:

  5. Go to the MID serve folder agent\scripts\Powershell.
Note that the files are not synced to MID.
