Out-of-box, the sysevent_register record with sys_id=4b7ac3530a0a0b300099153f83980d2f has the Event name 'sla.warning' and is on the task_sla table.

The Data Certification plugin includes a sysevent_register record with this sys_id also, but the Event name is cert_task.warning.breach and is on the cert_task table.

If you activate the Data Certification plugin, it overwrites sla.warning event registry record with cert_task.warning.breach.

Steps to Reproduce

To reconfigure events with Data Certification activated:

  1. Navigate to System Policy > Events > Registry.
  2. Open the cert_task.warning.breach event.
  3. Right-click in the header bar and select Insert and Stay from the context menu.
The system creates a copy of the event with a new record number.
  4. Right-click in the header bar and select Copy sys_id from the context menu.
  5. Copy the sys_id to the clipboard and paste it into another document for use later.
  6. Open the original version of the cert_task.warning.breach event and edit the following fields:
    • Event name: sla.warning
    • Table: Task SLA [task_sla]
    • Fired by: SLA workflow activity
    • Description: Warning that the SLA has hit a milestone
  7. Click Update.
  8. Navigate to Workflow > Administration > Workflow Versions.
  9. Open the Certification task escalation workflow.
  10. In the Workflow Activities related list, open the Notify assignee’s manager activity.
  11. Change the value in the Event name field to cert_task.warning.breach.
  12. Click Update.
This points the activity to the clone event you created.

To upgrade an instance in which Data Certification is activated:

  1. Navigate to System Policy > Events > Registry.
Note that there are duplicate versions of the cert_task.warning.breach event. One is the version you created in the first procedure and the other is the event installed by the upgrade.
  2. Open the version you created, using the sys_id you copied to identify it.
  3. Delete this version of the event.
The remaining version of the cert_task.warning.breach event is the one used by the upgraded version of the Certification task escalation workflow.
