Instance Dashboard shows different upgrade version from stats.do

KB Summary by Now Assist

Issue

The Instance Dashboard in the Now Support portal shows a different instance version from the stats.do page in the instance when attempting to upgrade.

If you are having trouble with an upgrade, try checking the Upgrade WAR properties to make sure the value displays the correct platform version. If the correct values are not present, the upgrade has not been successful.

Resolution

To check the Upgrade WAR properties:

  1. Navigate to System Properties > All Properties.
  2. Create the filter [Name is glide.war] or [glide.war.assigned].
  3. Confirm that the glide.war and glide.war.assigned values display the version that the platform is upgrading to.
  4. If the values displayed differ, update the values to the correct version, including the '.zip' extension. See below as an example:
    Screenshot of glide.war.assigned property
  5. Validate that the upgrade has completed successfully by checking the Upgrade History and stats.do.
