If an inbound email containing a German mutated vowel (umlaut) creates an incident, the mutated vowel does not display correctly in the 'Email Received' entry of the activity log (see attached 'email_received_bad.png). The mutated vowel does display correctly in the 'Changed' and 'Email sent' entries, and,\ all further updates to the incident display mutated vowels correctly in 'Comments Added' and sent/received emails.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use any email client to send an email to an instance to create an incident.
  2. Include a German mutated vowel in the email body, for example:
Ich war so beschäftigt in letzter Zeit

Expected results:  The mutated vowel should display correctly in all entries of the activity log.

Actual results.  The mutated vowel does not display correctly in the "Email Received" entry of the activity log.
