Description

Role names get truncated when setting a role name longer than 40 characters.


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new role.
  2. Set the name greater than 40 characters.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Right-click on any module.
  5. Select Edit Modules.
  6. Find the role field.
  7. Click the key.
  8. Add the newly created role to the right side.
  9. Click Save. Notice the role is truncated on the right side and the real role is still on the left side.




Workaround

This problem has been fixed in Paris via PRB1367272. There is no workaround available. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to.
