Issue

Cannot find an application record in the Application Menu module

Description

Cannot find an application in the System Definition > Application Menu module.

By default, the Application Menu list excludes all inactive applications. If the searched application is set to Active = false, the application record will not appear.

The Application Menu module is used to modify the application and module listings in the application navigator. An application menu is a group of modules, or pages, that provide related information and functionality in a ServiceNow instance.

Solution

To view an inactive application record in the Application menu module, remove the Active = true filter to view all the modules. When the desired module has been identified, set the Active field to true.

Application menu module with a box around the Active = is = true selections and an arrow pointing to the x icon on the right.
